What's The Role
The primary function of the role is to provide personal assistant/administrative support to the Country Manager and in matters relating to Human Resources.
What You'll Do
- · Provision of administrative support to the Country Manager as required.
- · Oversee external contractors.
- · Works within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
- · Creates and assists with the development of visual presentations. Record meeting discussions and provide minutes.
- · Monitor Company KPIs and submit progress reports.
- · Handles correspondence and reports on matters for government, regulatory and external legal counsel.
- · Assists in the induction of new employees.
- · Assists in the the onboarding and work permit process.
- · Arranges travel/housing arrangements as required.
- · Assists in the planning and execution of employee events as required.
- · Raise and process purchases orders.
- · Filing of correspondence
- · Advise on HR policies as required.
- · Assist with Payroll administration.
- Support as an administrator for HR benefits for the Company
- Assist with routine legal administrative matters
Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and administrative qualifications are desirable.
- Some experience working as a Senior Office Administrator or similar senior role.
- Experience in the paralegal field
- ·Some understanding of human resources and experience with administration of work permits will be an asset.
- Possess a high level of demonstrated competence in the following areas:
- · Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- · Professionalism particularly reflected in discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- · Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- · Excellent relationship-building skills.
- · Ability to exercise effective judgment and sensitivity to changing business needs and situations.
- · A self-starter, who is also able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- · Attention to detail.
- · Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with members of staff, customers and the general public.
- · Some knowledge of Human Resource practices
- · Highly computer literate with proficiency in the use of MS Office
