Sourcing Manager

- This positions functions as part of a broader sourcing team, sharing best practices, adopting practices across the departments and beyond, acts as a back-up to other staff, participates or leads process improvement initiatives within the department.  Acts as a subject matter expert in assigned categories. Provides product, service and category expertise for assigned categories of spend. Conducts oversight and evaluation of all governance checkpoints in the Sourcing Methodology. Completes proper documentation of performance in regard to the Sourcing Methodology.  - Works on complex spend categories achieving lower total cost of ownership.  Complex categories have fragmented spend, multiple business unit impacts, limited leverage position, complex contract terms...
