MEDICAL COUNSELOR- Garden City

Medical Counselors are responsible for providing direct support and assistance to persons with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities and Autism. They coordinate with the Program Manager & Nurse regarding health related services. The Medical Counselor will accompany and advocate for program participants on medical/dental appointments and emergency room visits. They will also schedule all medical appointments in coordination with the Nurse and Manager.
