Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated AI Engineer Intern to join our team in St. Moritz for Summer 2026. This internship is designed for candidates who are passionate about applied AI, building real-world products, and working hands-on with modern LLM systems and AI tooling.
You will work closely with experienced team members on practical AI initiatives, helping design, build, test, and deploy AI-driven solutions across internal and client-facing projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and support end-to-end AI pipelines, including retrieval systems, orchestration layers, evaluation workflows, and deployment
- Develop and iterate on LLM-powered applications and agent-based systems
- Work with APIs, prompts, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship production-ready software
- Test, evaluate, and improve AI application performance and reliability
- Research and experiment with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and workflows
Requirements
- Strong Python programming skills
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG systems, and AI agents
- Comfortable building AI applications end-to-end and deploying working solutions
- Experience working regularly with AI tools and shipping real software projects
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with vector databases
- Familiarity with evaluation/evals frameworks
- Understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals
- Experience with cloud deployment or modern backend tooling
