Job Description

Location: New Rochelle, NY Pay Rate: 36.00 per hour Hours: 4 hours per week. Days/Times may vary.    OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: We are seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to assist the Registered Nurse with daily duties in an Office of Mental Health licensed outpatient behavioral health clinic  PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Providing nursing services to persons living with mental health conditions Triage of psychiatry clients Assistance to prescriber Health assessments Review of external health information Health promotion education Long-acting injection medication administration.   ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONAL / ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT: Assignments may be determined at a future date   QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES: Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in New York State Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills      Excellent problem solving and time management skills Ability and interest in working with individuals and families affected by behavioral health disorders Bilingual English and Spanish speaking a plus EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 2 years of previous nursing experience with a mental health population or outpatient medical experience Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in New York State   PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to perform the job's essential functions successfully.
