JOB DESCRIPTION (Mechanical) PACKING PLANT

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Packing Plant)

Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering OR Diploma in Mechanical

Reporting: HOD Packing Plant

Summary : Ensure continuous monitoring and maintenance of mechanical equipments for Packing Plant to achieve operational excellence, minimal downtime, and high equipment reliability. Contribute to safety, automation improvements, and coordination with other teams.

Main Activities / Responsibilities

·         Coordinate maintenance worker efforts to ensure packers, loading machines and circuits are maintained.

·         Maintenance of packing machine equipment.

·         Troubleshooting and maintenance of Packer, TLM, WLM.

·         Monitoring and ensuring performance of clinker wagon loading and bag filters.

·         Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance for mechanical equipment.

·         Support automation and process improvement projects.

·         Coordinate with E&I teams for joint maintenance activities.

·         Maintain BOM, spares documentation and equipment history.

·         Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures.

·         SAP System

·         Maintenance schedules and checklists

·         Project documentation tools

Technical Skills

·         Good knowledge of PACKER, WLM, TLM, CWLS
