Job Description
JD – Utility Section Incharge (Assistant Manager / Dy. Manager)
- Responsible for planning and execution of work and ensures that all persons working under him carry out their duties and responsibilities assigned in connection with the functioning of the maintenance activity properly & safely.
- Responsible for break down & shutdown planning, proper allocation of man power, verifying of contractor bill.
- To co-ordinates the various activities within & inter department and assists the HOD for effective implementation of quality system.
- Responsible for health & safety of all persons working under him and implement & follow the safe working permit. Spreading awareness among the subordinate & worker for safety, Corrective action to be taken on the basis of safety observation.
- Responsible to maintain the good housekeeping and ensure that after job completion all unwanted material to be clean.
- Responsible for maintenance of compressors, blowers & water pumps.
- Responsible for supply of quality drinking water
- Responsible for up keep of workshop machines (lathe, shaper, drill etc.) Maintain PMRs in the SAP system assuring the system delivers a balanced workload each week -
- Ensure availability of all critical spares, to execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans as per schedule – get visibility on production plans to ensure proper planning and scheduling of maintenance activities
- Manage Bill of Materials (BOM), track material requests and manage spare parts availability so that maintenance jobs can be performed on schedule
- Maintain & update maintenance and technical information in SAP
- Participate in WWBLA of stoppage analysis of section
