CDL-A Truck Driver

Essential Duties:

• Will work as a valued member of our Shipping and Receiving operations.  Good attendance and safety records required.
• Transports raw/finished product between our plant and warehouse facilities (less than 3 miles each way).
• Ability to drive 53 foot TT / 10 speed unit.
• Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery of or pick up of goods between facilities.   Loads, secures and unloads cargo as assigned.
• Will work in either warehouse in between truck runs.  General warehouse 60% and Delivery 40% of daily work.  Position requires the ability to sit / stand / walk / reach / climb / squat / kneel / twist and turn as required by daily work / all capabilities to successfully operate controls and machinery.  Must be able to move or lift in excess of 50 pounds.
• Requires forklift and RF scanning experience.  Ability to operate and maintain equipment in safe manner at all times.
• Independent, reliable person who is also team focused and results-oriented.
• First shift position, local driving.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

1.  Must have a minimum of two (2) years CDL A experience.  Valid, clean and current license and ability to attain DOT physical card.
2. Ability to attain forklift certification (stand-up and sit down).
3. Computer literate / RF scanning experienced or able to attain.
4. Detailed oriented for documentation and computer input.
5. Requires the ability to be flexible to meet adapting work schedule.
