Performance Contracting is seeking a Branch Safety Supervisor for its PCI Kansas City 567 operations based in Lenexa, KS.
Job responsibilities include:
Assist with implementing and administering PCG and client accident prevention plans, policies, and procedures
Provide safety technical expertise, training, and supporting resources to the branch and workers
Anticipate, identify, evaluate, and mitigate safety and health hazards, both routine and non-routine
Conduct job site inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety policies, procedures, and accident prevention plans
Promote and enforce safe work practices among all employees through coaching and ongoing safety engagement
Investigate and report work-related injuries, illnesses, and near-miss incidents, enforcing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Review all safety incidents and investigation reports to verify accuracy and completeness
Ensure timely submission of PCG and client safety & accident reports, statistics, and documentation
Act as a liaison between the company and clients regarding site safety management
Establish branch and project safety goals while ensuring adherence to safety regulations
Evaluate and approve safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Basic Requirements
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
A clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions and applying new skills as they are taught
Strong customer service skills and an ability to build lasting client relationships
Must have critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to work under pressure and deadlines
Ability to prioritize projects and daily activities
General knowledge of trade tools, equipment, and materials used in the construction industry
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations and construction safety standards
Preferred Requirements
OSHA certification
Experience overseeing the glass and glazing scope on projects
Board of Certified Safety Professionals credential (e.g., CHST, ASP, CSP) is a plus
Fluency in Spanish is preferred
Training experience is preferred
