Responsibilities
IT Due Diligence (Buy-side/Sell-side): Analyze target companies’ tech stacks, technical debt, and cybersecurity posture to identify risks and value creation opportunities.
App Rationalization & Modernization: Evaluate global application portfolios to recommend "Retain, Retire, Re-platform, or Refactor" strategies, reducing complexity and technical overhead.
IT Cost Transformation: Conduct deep-dive financial analysis and benchmarking to identify "run" vs. "change" efficiencies and execute cost-optimization programs.
Strategic Research & Benchmarking: Support global engagements with rigorous market research, peer benchmarking, and the creation of C-suite ready recommendations.
Execution Support: Assist in the delivery of roadmap initiatives for both proactive digital transformations and reactive scenarios (e.g., Carve-outs, Post-Merger Integration, and Turnarounds).
Requirements:
IT Strategy: Deep understanding of Enterprise Architecture, Cloud economics (FinOps), and SDLC maturity.
Financial Acumen: Proficiency in TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) modeling, IT budgeting, and NPV analysis for tech projects.
M&A / Transactional: Experience identifying synergy captures, stranded costs, and Day 1 / Day 2 readiness requirements.
Data & Analysis: Mastery of Excel and BI tools to turn raw IT asset lists into actionable visualization and strategic insights.
Frameworks: Familiarity with industry frameworks such as COBIT, TOGAF, or ITIL is highly preferred.
Competencies:
Analytical Rigor: You don't just report data; you find the "so what" that drives executive decision-making.
Agility: Comfortable pivoting between a proactive digital roadmap for a Fortune 500 client and a high-pressure turnaround for a distressed asset.
Global Mindset: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across time zones and cultural contexts seamlessly.
