As Project Contract Sr. Specialist , you will will be responsible for the development and management of the contracts for TBG (BESS and other future projects), from inception to execution. The Project Contracts Specialist will also be involved, together with Supply Chain Management (SCM), in the strategic development of the Chinese supply chain for energy storage system i.e., scouting, evaluating, developing, and maintaining Supplier relationships with key equipment suppliers and contractors.and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the Project Development and Execution team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Execute following major post-award contracting management activities,
- Conduct preliminary technical and contractual analysis of contractor-submitted claims and back-charges, gathering supporting evidence and documenting facts to support the Contract Management Leader's decision-making.
- Critically review and validate all significant milestone and progress payment claims against contractual preconditions and technical completion confirmations prior to financial processing.
To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:
- Professional: At least 2 years of relevant experience in managing contracts, preferably with Chinese contractors
- Leadership Experience: Ability to manage stakeholders at different seniority levels (from Executives to Engineers/Technical Experts)
- Project Experience: At least 1 year in managing contracts and coordinating with Chinese suppliers/contractors
- Education: Bachelor's in Engineering degree with background in contract monitoring, able to read, write or speak Chinese (Mandarin or Fookien)
- License Required: any Certification for the bilingual skills, contract monitoring skills, etc.
