The Certified Collectibles Group (CCG) is seeking an experienced business leader to serve as Director of Operations and senior leader of its Shanghai operation. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day business activities, developing leaders and teams, driving operational performance, and ensuring alignment with the company's global objectives. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, results-oriented leader with experience managing complex operations and building high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.

CCG is a multi-divisional, global organization specializing in third-party authentication, grading, preservation, and conservation of collectibles, including coins, currency, comic books, trading cards, sports cards, video games, and more. CCG companies continue to grow rapidly due to increasing global demand for our industry-leading services.

In this role, you will:
  • Provide overall leadership for the Shanghai operation, ensuring alignment with company goals and the successful execution of business objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop managers and supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficient workflows, quality service delivery, and achievement of productivity goals.
  • Establish performance expectations, monitor key metrics, and drive execution against operational and business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain high standards of professionalism, operational discipline, and business excellence, ensuring the Shanghai office reflects CCG's values, culture, and global expectations.
  • Partner with leadership teams across global offices to align priorities, share best practices, and support company initiatives.
  • Manage staffing, workforce planning, and resource allocation to meet changing business demands and support future growth.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, communication, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and workplace safety expectations.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts and make sound business decisions to address operational, personnel, and customer-related challenges.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, operating expenses, and capital investment plans.
  • Oversee relationships with vendors, suppliers, contractors, service providers, and building management, ensuring services are delivered effectively, cost efficiently, and in alignment with business needs and company standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Service, HR, Finance, IT, Security, Marketing, and other departments to support organizational goals.
  • Support strategic planning, business growth initiatives, and the successful implementation of new programs, services, and technologies.
  • Build organizational capability through talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, and performance management.
  • Represent the Shanghai operation as a key leader within the global organization and serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What will help you succeed:
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin.
  • Ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience managing operations, business functions, or service organizations in a growth-oriented environment.
  • Experience working within a global organization with a U.S.-based headquarters preferred.
  • Experience leading operational improvements, organizational development initiatives, or business growth efforts.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance operational performance, quality, customer experience, and cost management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution across cross-functional teams.
  • BS or BA degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
