Collaborate as part of the Global Team to design, deploy, and maintain comprehensive LAN and wireless infrastructure solutions
Possess extensive expertise in network technologies, with a strong emphasis on designing and managing complex network infrastructures within financial services organizations
Assist the Product Manager in planning and assigning tasks to European team to ensure timely delivery
Expected skills & experience We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills: Experience Minimum working experience required on Network is 5 years with at least 2 years in complex enterprise network engineer role in a sizable organization
Demonstrated extensive hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting a wide range of LAN/WAN routing and switching environments
Proficient in deploying and managing various wireless technologies, including Cisco Aironet, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Meraki, and ideally HPE Aruba
Technical skills Strong expertise in TACACS+ and RADIUS AAA services, with familiarity in Cisco ISE and, ideally, HPE Aruba ClearPass as well
Advanced knowledge of modern LAN technologies, supported by practical experience with Cisco Catalyst Centre and, ideally, HPE Aruba Central as well
In-depth understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite, with the ability to conduct detailed packet analysis and troubleshooting
Proven experience with a broad range of routing and network protocols, including OSPF, BGP, QoS, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), HSRP, VRRP, TACACS+, RADIUS, SNMP, NTP, NetFlow, 802.1X, and others
Strong background in designing and implementing SD-WAN solutions across diverse underlay networks
Experience utilizing bandwidth and performance analysis tools (e.g., NetFlow) and SNMP-based Network Management Systems (NMS)
Solid understanding of common application-layer protocols such as HTTP, DNS, SMTP, DHCP, and IPsec
Up-to-date knowledge of emerging networking products, features, and industry trends
Proficient in network documentation, including support procedures, network diagrams, High-Level Design (HLD), and Low-Level Design (LLD)
Skilled in scripting languages such as Shell, PERL, and Python to support network automation, task scheduling, backups, and REST API integrations with modern NMS
Familiar with NMS tools like Logic Monitor, SolarWinds, CA Spectrum, Cacti, and Syslog
Hands-on experience with private and public cloud networking environments (considered advantageous)
Basic understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks
Soft skills / transversal skills Good communication skills with spoken and written French and English Ability to analyze issues, troubleshoot effectively, and develop innovative solutions
Clear and concise in conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborating with team members
Ability to work well within a team, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to achieve common goals
Willingness to learn new technologies, adapt to changing environments, and handle multiple priorities
Meticulous in designing, implementing, and documenting network configurations to prevent errors and ensure reliability
Efficiently managing tasks and priorities to meet project deadlines and operational requirements
Providing excellent support and service to users and clients, understanding their needs, and resolving issues promptly
Assessing situations logically, evaluating options, and making informed decisions under pressure
Maintaining composure during complex troubleshooting and persistent in resolving challenging issues
Eagerness to stay updated with the latest industry trends, certifications, and technological advancements
Guides a cross-functional team with proactive communication mentorship to maximize productivity and measurable results
