Responsibilities:
Collect data for DR workbook – ensure data is accurate and precise, collaborate with all IT teams to validate data and update CMDB.
Provide support the EARS process and the architectural reviews, for correct level of resilience and redundancy required to meet the RTO / RPO
Ensure all new solutions and major changes have created / updated, IT DR plans in place and have been fully tested prior to go-live.
Create a workflow Centre to deliver detailed instructions, tasks and recovery procedures for the business-critical systems and infrastructure services
Conduct and manage reviews and updates to all DR tasks when there is change.
Reporting directly into the ITSC / ITDR Lead, provide DR leadership
Support the BCM team to identify Minimum Viable Business (MVB) required for IT DR to review and create the necessary IT DR recovery runbooks through WFC, with annual reviews where required.
Assist with a tabletop and live scenario recovery exercise for an IT DR Incident, managed by the MIM process and team and ensure the testing is documented and captured
Define, Setup and document an agreed failure mode for the top 5 business critical underlying infrastructure services
Create test plans to be incorporated into the IT DR plans, utilizing Workflow center as the hub for runbooks in live and test where required.
Tracking lessons learned from each test, with update to the post test summary report on every DR test building knowledge for future live or DR tests.
Assist ITDR workshops with key stakeholders to deliver WFC training and their teams
Develop and create a Workflow Centre to deliver detailed instructions, tasks and recovery procedures for the business UAT
Document and record the step process and tracker information to make sure all details are accurate and in a ready state.
Provide support to BCM to understand what requirements from the business what a MVB is, what best solution fits the recovery process required for IT DR to review.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) / IT Service Continuity
Strong knowledge of ITDR frameworks (e.g., ITIL, ISO 22301, NIST) and principles including RTO/RPO, resiliency design, and recovery planning
Hands-on experience in planning and executing DR tests (tabletop and live exercises)
Experience in developing and maintaining DR runbooks and recovery procedures
Familiarity with CMDB tools and workflow/runbook automation platforms (e.g., ServiceNow or similar)
Exposure to infrastructure environments (servers, networks, cloud platforms) is highly preferred
Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to work across global teams (IT, BCM, Architecture)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Exposure to project management practices is an advantage
