About the Role
As Trade Category Manager (TCM), you’ll lead the strategic development and execution of trade marketing plans across Pakistan. You’ll be the vital link between marketing strategy and sales execution—driving category growth, enhancing in-store visibility, and optimizing trade promotions. This role requires someone who demonstrates a strong understanding of shopper behavior, retail dynamics, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.

So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
- Category Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with brand and channel objectives.
- Trade Marketing & Visibility: Lead POS material development and manage trade activations and visibility campaigns.
- Promotional Planning & ROI: Design and evaluate trade promotions to maximize sales uplift and ROI.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure seamless execution.
- Reporting & Analysis: Track performance, maintain dashboards, and present data-driven insights to senior management.
Experience, Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s is a plus)
- Strong experience in Modern Trade sales, key account management, or business development in FMCG, with the relevant deep understanding of retail dynamics and distribution networks
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities, proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant data analysis tools
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
