Job Description
Purpose of the job
As a Production Coordinator, you will coordinate suppliers to produce our fashion retail clients’ designs, complement the project team by managing supplier production, and oversee the assembly and packing of articles within the required quality and timeframe. The Production Coordinator will excel in technical expertise, effective communication, and team collaboration. You'll work closely with our engineers, production managers, account/roll-out managers, assembly teams, logistics managers, installation teams, and finance department to ensure seamless production operations.
This role will operate on a blended basis between the local HH Global office, client / supplier site(s) and home.

Key responsibilities
Manage all aspects of production with vendors, ensuring delivery timetables and maintaining project status
Brief design/engineering teams and verify mechanical drawing details
Prepare quotations and select appropriate vendors for production
Plan and track supplier production, setting priorities accordingly
Develop and sustain excellent relationships with all suppliers
Liaise between different material suppliers for cross-production checks
Provide ongoing training to production executives
Manage the entire process of concept development from design and engineering to final project handover to the client
Ensure quality and final check of technical documentation (design drawings, production bill of materials, metadata)
Ensure compliance with internal and client standards and systems
Use ERP systems to document all production-related information and technical documentation
Serve as the key contact for internal teams and suppliers regarding project status and details
Provide clear and timely solution-oriented communication to suppliers and internal team members
Ensure quality and on-time delivery of production articles
Plan inspections at suppliers' facilities and on incoming components to the warehouse
Ensure packaging standards reflect client needs
Establish and communicate budgets and work-back schedules for each project
Analyze job revenue, cost, and profitability by job and/or project
Manage claims of damaged or missing components
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
Extensive experience in production, ideally in retail fixture fabrication or related industry
Technical education in furniture, mechanical, civil engineering, or architecture is a plus
Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings
Advanced knowledge of materials and production technologies in joinery, metal works, plastics, printing, and glass works
Strong supplier relationship management skills
Project management skills, including organizational and planning abilities, time management, and multitasking
Commercial and negotiation skills, including comprehensive calculations of production costs
Open, honest, and direct communication style
Stress-resistant and able to maintain focus under time pressure
Excellent communication skills for both personal and written interaction with suppliers and internal teams
Advanced level of MS Office (MS Excel is a must)
Knowledge of ERP systems
Familiarity with 3D design software or Inventor or SOLIDWORKS
Advanced level of English and Czech is required for written and verbal communication, including technical English
