Job Description
Overview:
Typical business hours, Mon-Fri, with evening/weekend hours as needed.
Pay to commensurate with experience. Benefits eligible.
Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Essential Functions:
- Develops expense, operational and capital budgets. Monitors, evaluates and justifies monthly budget expenditures and revenue.
- Recruits, trains, evaluate, develops, disciplines and/or terminates subordinate staff. Assures that performance standards for all staff are met.
- Promotes teamwork by building a team environment and fostering cross functional collaboration.
- Ensures regulatory compliance and emergency response preparedness.
- Maintains safety and quality as priorities, providing direction, prioritization, accountability, enthusiasm and support for safety and quality initiatives.
- Coordinates staff representation on departmental, hospital and community task forces, committees, quality teams and advisory groups. Serves as a representative to such groups when appropriate.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor’s in Nursing with commitment to obtain Master's Degree within 3 years of hire.
- MSN, MHA, MBA, preferred.
Licensure Requirement:
Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
Certifications:
Current CPR certification, must be willing to obtain and maintain PALS certification as determined by your manager.
Skills:
Experience:
Three years of pediatric clinical experience or equivalent combination of education/experience required.
