Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Personal Solicitation: May personally solicit a set number of prospects to raise incremental revenue for Dana-Farber. Identify and research prospects, solicit prospects for increased commitments, qualify and steward prospects, and prepare and submit proposals while tracking results.
- Reporting: Report progress on goals and responsibilities to the department; produce analysis of personal solicitation effectiveness. Coordinate with Information Systems staff for reporting and prospect tracking. Generate Call Reports.
- Programmatic: Assist with implementation of comprehensive prospect management plan.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
- Organization: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Solid organizational, project management, and multi-tasking abilities skills, with an aptitude for prioritizing tasks. Strong attention to detail. Effective and efficient time-management abilities. Strong ability to be resourceful and self-initiate tasks.
- Judgement: Exceptional ability to exercise judgement, maintain confidentiality, and act with discretion when working with a variety of stakeholders.
- Data Analysis: Ability to collect, organize, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used for decision-making.
- Computer Literacy: Strong knowledge of development databases, and Microsoft Office applications, with excellent Excel skills.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum Experience:
6+ years of relevant work experience.
License/Certification/Registration:
None
