Job Summary
We are looking for a senior account lead (Sr. Director - GAD) to manage a large CPG brand, owning the client relationship, account health, and quality of agency output.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Toronto office, with an expectation of three days on site per week. This is an 8–9 month fixed term position covering a parental leave.
What You’ll Do
Serve as the senior account lead to manage a large CPG brand, owning the client relationship, account health, and quality of agency output
Lead IAT partners and internal teams to ensure alignment, momentum, and clear ways of working
Oversee key projects from brief through execution, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard
Translate client business priorities into clear agency direction, actionable briefs, and proactive opportunities
Partner with strategy, creative, production, media, experiential, and other teams to deliver integrated work
Own financial management across the account, including scopes, budgets, forecasts, reconciliations, and profitability
Build trusted senior-level client relationships and confidently navigate complex conversations
Lead, mentor, and develop the account team, creating a culture of accountability and collaboration
Identify opportunities to grow and strengthen the business through proactive thinking and operational rigour
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of relevant account leadership experience, ideally within an agency environment
Experience leading IATs, multi-agency teams, or large cross-functional workstreams
Strong client leadership skills with the ability to build trust at senior levels
Proven ability to manage complex projects, competing priorities, and high-volume accounts
Strong financial acumen, including scopes, budgets, forecasting, and profitability management
Strategic thinker who can connect business objectives to creative and cultural opportunities
Clear, confident communicator who can simplify complexity and lead through ambiguity
Strong people leadership skills with experience coaching and developing account talent
Experience with beverage, CPG, lifestyle, sponsorship, sports, entertainment, or culturally driven brands is an asset
Must be able to work a hybrid in-office schedule
Base salary range: $120-150K CAD, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role.
