Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for preparing and serving meals to patients, staff and visitors and all tasks leading up to and after meal service. Tasks include (but are not limited to): washing dishes, collecting dirty trays, putting stock away, prepping for and cooking of food including for therapeutic diets, cleaning and sterilizing of equipment, talking with patients and inputting meal requests, communicating with other departments, keeping supplies and products stocked and organized, serving retail customers and using POS system, adhering to strict health codes and regulations at all times and following all food sanitation rules.
