Registered Nurse - Outpatient Thoracic Surgery in Lawrenceville, GA (US). This travel assignment begins 06/29/2026 for 13 weeks, with 40 guaranteed hours per week and 8-hour day shifts Monday–Friday. Weekly pay ranges from $1,592 to $1,717. The role is in an outpatient thoracic surgery program operating within a hospital setting, with time split between Atlanta and Lawrenceville locations.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to outpatient thoracic surgery patients, including pre- and post-operative assessment and care per current standards
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications and therapies, and manage post-operative pain and drain care as ordered
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the outpatient care team to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Document assessment, plan of care, and patient education in the electronic medical record
- Maintain sterile technique, safety, infection control, and unit/room turnover; ensure equipment readiness
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in outpatient thoracic surgery or related specialty
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work in an outpatient thoracic surgery environment and travel between Atlanta and Lawrenceville locations
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
