Key job responsibilities
Senior Seller Success Managers are responsible for driving business growth and delivering a positive experience with our program. The key responsibilities are to:

- Build and cultivate strong relationships with dealers in your portfolio. Serve as a trusted advisor and business advocate, proactively monitoring dealer satisfaction, account health, and engagement to ensure long-term success.

- Drive sustainable business growth for your dealers on Amazon through data-driven insights and marketplace expertise. Create and present compelling, customized solutions that help dealers achieve and exceed their business goals.

- Leverage performance data and analytics to identify growth opportunities within your dealer portfolio. Track key input metrics that drive selection quality, pricing competitiveness, and customer experience improvements.

- Partner with dealer leadership to develop strategic account plans that unlock new revenue streams, optimize existing operations, and scale their Amazon presence effectively.

- Manage escalations and provide solutions to help dealers effectively navigate challenges and maintain healthy account operations.

- Identify and champion process improvements that benefit your dealer portfolio and the broader program, including driving adoption of new tools, simplifying workflows, and sharing best practices across the team.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to advocate for dealer needs and ensure alignment on programs that drive mutual success.

A day in the life
As a Seller Success Manager, you will work cross-functionally with internal teams across Seller Experience, Operations, Product, and Program Management, and externally with GM and VP-level dealer contacts. Your primary responsibilities include driving sustainable dealer growth on Amazon through data-driven insights and marketplace expertise, partnering with dealer leadership to develop and execute growth strategies, advocating on behalf of dealers while developing customized solutions, and managing escalations to ensure exceptional dealer satisfaction and account health across your portfolio.

About the team
About the team We are a newly formed rapidly growing team with a vision to create innovative discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection. We're collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for products in the complex automotive space. This role is part of the Amazon Ads org and is focused on vehicle sales.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, business development, or client/seller success roles.
- Proven track record of managing a portfolio of accounts and driving measurable business growth through strategic planning and data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level stakeholders, including GM and VP-level contacts.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience managing escalations and resolving complex account issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences.

- MBA or advanced degree in a related field. Experience in the automotive industry, dealership operations, or marketplace/e-commerce platforms.
- 7+ years of experience in account management, sales, or seller/partner success within a technology or marketplace environment.
- Track record of exceeding revenue or growth targets in a quota-carrying or goal-oriented role.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Program Management teams to advocate for customer or partner needs.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, business intelligence platforms, and performance analytics dashboards.
- Experience in a start-up or early-stage business environment, with a demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
- Proven ability to drive adoption of new tools, simplify workflows, and champion process improvements at scale.
