Description:
This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner as well as running the computer to route ingredients while maintaining a safe a work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Department:
Must be able to work in and be exposed to outside temperatures and environment. May lift in excess of 80 lbs., heavy equipment, and climb stairs on a routine basis. Must be able to file both alphabetically and numerically, must be able to operate the live haul scales and keep feed cleaned up from on and around the scale area. This position requires communicating in a professional manner both orally and in writing. Must maintain a clean work area and break area. Must be able to compute grower weights and head count. Must be able and willing to train and operate a Rail Mover Operator.
1. Ability to operate a locomotive/trackmobile to move rail cars by following established procedures and/or specifications.
2. Ability to coordinate activities such as switching cars from one track to another, coupling railcars together, and/or clearances.
3. Ability to handle switches and hand brakes in accordance with company programs.
4. Ability to walk the length of the track to monitor track conditions and report any irregularities to management.

6. Ability be able to operate scales and document incoming ingredients through the ticketing system
7. Ability to operate equitment to unload feed ingredients and route to appropriate storage silo
8. Ability to obtain and run quaility analysis on required incoming ingredients
9. Ability to lift and use hand tools to assist in unloading of ingredients
10. Ability to perform minor maintenance duties using hand tools
11. Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.
12. Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling
13. Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
14. Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guildelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species
15. Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
16. Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required
17. Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols
18. Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance
19. Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.
20. Complete all other tasks assigned by management.
Requirement: Must have 6 months continuous work history with a single employer within the last 12 months.

Rehire Consideration:
Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
180 days (6 months) waiting period.
