The AF Import Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and achieving department goals in AF Import. This role focuses on maintaining high standards of performance, fostering team development, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Monitors and manages daily operations to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard, optimizing workflow and productivity

• Leads and develops team members by providing guidance, training, and support to enhance team skills and promote professional growth

• Ensures compliance with company policies by overseeing adherence to organizational guidelines, safety protocols, and legal regulations

• Handles conflict resolution and problem-solving by addressing issues promptly and effectively, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

• Reports on performance metrics by analyzing data and preparing reports to evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement

• Coordinates cross-functional activities by collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment and achieve overall business objectives

• Implements process improvements by identifying opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency and leading initiatives to implement these changes

• Manages resource allocation to ensure optimal use of resources to meet operational needs.
   

Qualifications

• Skills & Competencies: Care & Connect, Communication, Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Change, Personal Development, Responsibility & Reliability, Empowering Others, Business Acumen

• Education: Apprenticeship in Logistics Management required; Associate's Degree or relevant experience in Logistics Management preferred

• Languages: Proficient in national language; Elementary in English

• Work Experience: Experience in airfreight import operations; Leadership experience, overseeing similar teams or frontline staff, with responsibility for daily operations
