Kruger Pro is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead preventative and predictive maintenance strategies that maximize the availability and reliability of our Trenton converting assets while supporting safe, efficient, and cost-effective production. In this role, you will partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Operators, and Maintenance Technicians to solve problems, improve asset performance, and drive continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

As the Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in strengthening equipment reliability and supporting plant performance by:

  • Developing and managing preventative and predictive maintenance programs for converting assets, including mechanical and electrical components.Improving machine reliability, uptime, and overall equipment effectiveness through proactive maintenance strategies.

  • Leading root cause failure analysis initiatives and driving corrective action plans in partnership with the Line Centric Team.

  • Reducing process variability using continuous improvement tools such as Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma.

  • Identifying and resolving bottlenecks related to manufacturing processes, control systems, and equipment capability.Managing lubrication, oil analysis, vibration monitoring, and other condition-based maintenance programs.

  • Supporting the development of Maintenance Technicians through upskilling in preventative and predictive maintenance techniques. 

  • Ensuring equipment and processes comply with safety, environmental, and operational requirements.

 

What You Bring

We’re looking for a technically strong, collaborative, and proactive engineering professional with:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.

  •  3–5 years of experience in technical, industrial manufacturing, or reliability engineering roles, or 1–2 years of related experience combined with formal reliability training or education.

  • Experience with Lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement practices.

  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance, reliability improvement programs, and root cause failure analysis.

  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical drive systems, machine design, engineering calculations, packaging equipment, and manufacturing support equipment.

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and statistical analysis tools.

  • The ability to read and interpret machine drawings and schematic diagrams.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a cross-functional environment.

The starting range for this role is $79,960.00 - $106,610.00 or higher, depending on your experience.
