Job Description

Ecolab is seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager to lead and grow strategic customer relationships within the Institutional business. This role is responsible for managing key customer accounts, driving profitable growth, developing long-term account strategies, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and create value for both customers and Ecolab.

What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
Drive new business acquisition and identify opportunities for account growth.
* Retain and expand existing customer business through strategic account management.
* Lead customer planning and account strategy development.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and commercial terms.
* Promote and support innovative Ecolab solutions and digital capabilities.
* Ensure customer expectations and service commitments are consistently met.
* Manage account profitability and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
* Collaborate with internal teams to execute customer initiatives and resolve issues.
* Mentor and support colleagues while sharing market and customer insights.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
* Proven experience in sales, key account management, or customer relationship management.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives.
* Strong analytical and financial acumen.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience managing large national, regional, or multi-site customer accounts.
* Experience within the hospitality, food service, healthcare, or institutional sectors.
* Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
* Knowledge of solution-based selling and strategic account planning.
* Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating across functions.
* Prior experience with Ecolab products, services, or similar industry solutions.
