Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Clinics Department

This role is more than assisting with appointments — it’s about creating a welcoming experience, supporting providers, and helping patients feel cared for, informed, and confident in their healthcare journey.
In This Role, You Will:
- Provide direct patient care and assist providers during exams, treatments, and procedures.
- Take vital signs, perform patient assessments, and support efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.
- Administer medications and injections within scope of practice.
- Educate patients on medications, procedures, and follow-up care instructions.
- Accurately document patient information and communications in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and patient communication with professionalism and compassion.
- Support clinic operations by assisting with scheduling, phone calls, supply management, and front office functions as needed.
- Collaborate with providers and team members to maintain a positive, patient-centered environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current Texas LVN license or Certified Medical Assistant credential required.
- Current BLS certification for healthcare providers required.
- Previous clinic or physician office experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems preferred.
