Overview of the role:
Ensure accurate and reliable business reporting through the execution of robust, well-controlled financial closing processes, maintaining consistency, compliance, and integrity across all reporting activities.
What you will do:

Financial Reporting & Closing
• Lead and ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and supporting analyses to ensure compliance with accounting standards and business requirements.
• Ensure all month-end journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, provisions, and adjustments, are accurately recorded.General Ledger & Accounting Control
• Maintain the Chart of Accounts and ensure the proper classification of transactions across account groups, cost centers, and profit centers.
• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the General Ledger and comply with company policies and accounting standards.
• Monitor and review VAT and tax-related accounting entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.Financial Analysis & Management Reporting
• Prepare and distribute timely, accurate management reports, financial statements, and analytical reports to support decision-making.
• Perform regular and ad hoc financial analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.Audit & Compliance
• Lead the coordination of external audits and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors.
• Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and resolve audit queries in a timely manner.
• Ensure a smooth year-end audit process and compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.Intercompany & Revenue Accounting
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
• Manage intercompany cost allocations and ensure accurate accounting treatment.
• Maintain accurate revenue and cost recognition records in line with applicable accounting standards.Process Improvement & Systems Support
• Support the Record-to-Report (R2R) team in the preparation of financial statements and reporting activities.
• Participate in ERP implementations, system enhancements, process improvement initiatives, and special projects as required.
• Drive continuous improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
Required Skills to be successful:
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the real estate sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Word.
- Experience with SAP or similar financial systems is preferred.
- Proven track record in preparing high-quality financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
What equips you for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards and IFRS.
- Professional certifications such as IFRS, CMA, or FMVA are a plus.
