As Regional Sales Director for the APAC region in our Military, Helicopter & Energy business, you’ll be responsible for leading a team responsible for the sale of assigned products and services within APAC region for Helicopter products. Responsible for meeting planned sales volumes, market penetration and profitability objectives. You’ll lead a team to develop and maintain customer accounts, implements sales strategies, presents new concepts, and ensure optimal sales service overall and for assigned target areas. You’ll coordinate across the Sector and Corporation for customer relations, internal teaming and support corporate objectives.
What you’ll do as the Helicopter Sales Director for the Asia Pacific Region:
- Working with the VP Sales you will develop and set short and long term territory sales strategy considering market opportunity with new and existing customer base.
You will Manages and coach the team to achieve sales targets and grow regional business and improve quality of earnings acting as regional expert to advise leadership of strategic growth opportunities
- Conduct sales calls, prepare and performs product delivery presentations, provide product support, and perform other sales and marketing functions as required.
- Coordinate and manage the relationship between the organization and the approved intermediary of the company as required; owns Sales Intermediary selection, negotiation, and agreements. Responsible for developing the skills of and keeping the intermediary up-to-date on technical matters, compliance regulations, and corporate policy.
- Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Salesforce.com (SFDC) database through completion of induction information for each customer transaction as well as call reports
- Serve as company representative at industry trade shows, sales meetings, marketing workshops, training sessions and other special events as required. As well as host and coordinates customer visits.
- You’ll be responsible for managing transactional costs and margins by applying a thorough knowledge of market segment cost drivers.

- Effectively influences and leads teams. Inspires and gets the best out of others. Can navigate conflict and diffuses tense situations.
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills. Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and customer service skills.
- Thorough product knowledge of Helicopter MRO market segment preferably in APAC region.
- Working knowledge of salesforce.com or similar Customer Relationship Management system
- Minimum 7 years customer facing experience required including direct aerospace sales experience.
- Up to 50% travel required (international & domestic).
- Proficient in English and regional language
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering technology or other related fields is preferred but not required
