Job Description

Key responsibilities :
• be responsible for the area of occupational health and safety within the production plant in accordance with legislation and ArcelorMittal standards
• identify risks and implement practical measures to improve workplace safety
• conduct audits and workplace inspections and propose concrete improvements
• cooperate with production management on the gradual development of safety culture
• coordinate areas such as technical equipment, work at height and the LOTOTO energy isolation system
• participate in the investigation of occupational accidents and implementation of preventive measures
• communicate with external authorities such as health authorities, labour inspectorate and fire brigade
• work with data and report OHS KPIs
Profile :
• university degree in safety, engineering or a related field
• experience in occupational health and safety within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• professional qualification in accordance with Act No. 309/2006 Coll.
• ability to identify risks and distinguish between critical issues and those that can be addressed progressively
• ability to drive change while respecting operational reality
• ability to cooperate with management and production and communicate across the organization
• ability to work with data and use it to manage and improve OHS
• English at least at B1 level, Czech fluency
