Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 / year

Key Responsibilities
- Heavy AutoCAD usage to prepare Site layout, grading, storm drainage, stormwater management, utilities, erosion control design, landscaping and lighting layouts, zoning code reviews, and municipal and agency permitting.
- Review and interpret surveys and engineering reports (geotechnical, environmental, wetlands, traffic, etc.) for use in site design.
- Working knowledge of NYSDEC stormwater regulations and the motivation and ability to learn similar regulations for other states outside of NY are required.
- Municipal and agency permitting and attendance at meetings.
- Coordination with utility companies and review of design.
- Some travel for meetings, site observations, etc.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Minimum Qualifications
- BS or pre-professional degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited school.
- Proficient with technical software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, truck-turning, Hydrology, etc.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, OneNote, Google Earth, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- EIT
- 3+ years of experience with site design.
- Retail, QSR, or multi-site project experience.
