
Instrumentation Engineer - Part Rationalization
Job Description
Perform complete selection of instrumentation for Gas Turbine and GT auxiliary systems, including:
GT package instrumentation
Fuel gas / liquid fuel systems
Lube oil, seal oil, hydraulic oil systems
Inlet air filtration, exhaust & enclosure systems
Cooling systems and fire & gas interfaces
Select and specify instruments such as:
Pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters
Speed, vibration, flame detectors, and specialty GT sensors
Control valves, regulators, solenoid valves, and on/off valves
Prepare and review:
Instrument datasheets and requisitions
Instrument index and I/O lists
P&IDs and control narratives related to GT systems
Review, comment, and validate supplier documents, including:
Instrument datasheets and drawings
Compliance matrices and certificates
Installation, operation, and maintenance manuals (IOM)
Check supplier documents for compliance with:
GT project specifications
OEM standards and customer requirements
IEC, ISA, IEEE, ISO, ATEX, IECEx (as applicable)
Work Experience
Should have 5 to 10 yrs experience.
Experience in Electrical Systems
Experience in oil and Gas industry
Experience in preparing Mod Kit, FMI
Good in Engineering Change Request Process
