Hotel Breakfast Attendant (Weekends)
Location: Hammond, IN 46324
Property: Residence Inn by Marriott
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Hotel Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure a pleasant and efficient breakfast experience for our guests by maintaining cleanliness, replenishing food items, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain the breakfast area, including arranging food and beverage items attractively.
- Monitor food levels and replenish items as needed to ensure availability throughout the breakfast service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals.
- Report any maintenance or supply issues to management in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with kitchen and housekeeping staff to ensure smooth breakfast operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist guests and team members.
Work Environment
This position requires working in a fast-paced hotel breakfast area during early morning hours. The role involves standing, walking, bending, reaching and occasional lifting of 25-40 pounds.
