Assistant Actuarial Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities: Analyze data and results to provide meaningful explanations of results and trends and provide recommendations that are relevant to the business Build and maintain pricing models with baseline result and sensitivity testing Prepare actuarial reports and results in appropriate form for stakeholders Coordinate with other actuarial and technical (e.g. investment) teams on assumptions, methodology and information required Manage experience studies Assist in reviewing product materials from pricing perspective Review work of junior staff for consistency, reasonableness, comprehensiveness and suitability for purpose Provide ad-hoc support in line with team priorities Support the Senior Actuarial Manager in handling reinsurance arrangements Propose and implement improvements to regular pricing process, analyses, reports and documentation Maintain a clearly documented audit trail of data, assumptions, methodology and financial results

: Qualified or nearly qualified Actuary At least 5 years’ of experience in the life insurance industry Good command of business English, both in written and spoken form Candidate with less experience may be considered as Senior Actuarial Analyst About AXA Hong Kong and Macau AXA Hong Kong and Macau is a member of the AXA Group, a leading global insurer with presence in 52 markets and serving 92 million customers worldwide
