The Pool Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance and care of our pools and spas.
Pay Rate: $19.00-20.00 an hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Maintain and balance all pool and spa chemicals by using chemical testing methods
• Perform all routine pool and spa maintenance i.e. skimming, brushing, vacuuming, filter cleanings
• Winterize all autofill systems
• Perform salt system maintenance
• Maintain thorough chemical and maintenance records
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in outdoor lawn care or landscaping
• Valid driver’s license
LANGUAGE SKILLS
• Must be able to effectively communicate with other team members, guests, and managers
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
• Basic knowledge and understanding of math
REASONING ABILITY
• Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be able to be on feet for an extended period
• Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• May occasionally be asked to go outside in all weather conditions
