Job Summary
The Systems Analyst supports and improves the technology systems that drive construction operations, for all internal users. This position serves as a front-line IT representative, meaning customer service, professionalism, and communication skills are just as important as technical ability.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support for Windows-based servers and desktop systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Support virtualized environments using Hyper-V
- Troubleshoot basic network issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi)
- Assist with firewall, VPN, and network security support
- Provides professional and courteous support to employees
- Communicate clearly with users regarding issues, resolution steps, and expectations
- Document work and follow established IT processes and procedures
- Assist with rollout of new technologies, policies, and system changes
- Collaborate with IT team members to improve service delivery and system reliability
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a Systems Administrator, Systems Analyst, or similar IT role
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support
- Experience with Hyper-V or similar virtualization platforms
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience supporting firewalls and basic network security concepts
- Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting an engineering, manufacturing, or professional services environment
- Experience supporting a multi-department organization
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and documentation
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, Fortinet, etc.)
