Position Summary
Ed Castro Landscape is seeking an experienced and client-focused Client Representative / Account Manager to join our team in Roswell, GA. This highly visible leadership position is responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience while driving operational excellence, team performance, and account profitability.
The ideal candidate possesses strong horticultural knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for maintaining some of North Atlanta's most prestigious residential and commercial landscapes. This role combines client relationship management, field operations oversight, sales, and leadership to ensure every property reflects the high standards of Ed Castro Landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned landscape maintenance clients.
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure quality, identify opportunities, and maintain contract compliance.
Develop and present enhancement proposals, landscape improvements, and detailed cost estimates.
Coordinate services from proposal through completion with accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain proactive communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
Support billing, collections, contract documentation, and account administration.
Team Leadership & Operations
Oversee multiple landscape maintenance crews through collaboration with Production Managers and Crew Leaders.
Train, coach, and develop team members on safety, quality standards, and industry best practices.
Perform routine quality control inspections to ensure work meets Ed Castro Landscape standards.
Manage schedules, labor resources, and workflow efficiency.
Maintain accurate documentation for contracts, enhancements, and property updates.
Identify and resolve field challenges quickly and effectively.
Horticulture & Technical Expertise
Apply strong knowledge of Georgia plant material, turfgrass management, seasonal color programs, and landscape maintenance practices.
Read and interpret landscape plans, blueprints, and site specifications.
Monitor plant health and assist in identifying pest, disease, and nutrient-related issues.
Coordinate with irrigation and plant health care teams to ensure optimal landscape performance.
Evaluate irrigation systems and recommend repairs or improvements as needed.
Support landscape enhancement and renovation projects while maintaining quality standards.
Sales & Profitability
Achieve or exceed revenue and profitability goals for assigned accounts.
Identify and develop opportunities for enhancements, seasonal color, irrigation upgrades, drainage improvements, and other value-added services.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and job costing activities.
Maintain accurate estimating, proposal tracking, and billing records.
Support overall branch growth through strong client relationships and proactive account management.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape account management, operations, or related leadership roles.
Strong horticultural knowledge of landscapes and turfgrass common to Georgia and the Southeast.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Industry certifications such as Georgia Certified Landscape Professional (GCLP), ISA Certified Arborist, or related credentials preferred.
Experience with Aspire, CompanyCam, GeoTab, or similar landscape management software preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, specifications, and contracts.
