Enrolled Nurse

This is a unique and specialised role that sits within our broader nursing team, with a primary focus on supporting the Breast Imaging service and procedures undertaken in our department.

This is not a standard nursing position — we are looking for someone with strong clinical capability and a keen interest in breast care and imaging. Candidates with prior experience as a breast care nurse or in a similar clinical setting will be highly regarded.

Role Overview

In this role, you will work closely with our Breast Radiologists and multidisciplinary team to coordinate and support breast imaging procedures, ensuring a seamless and compassionate patient experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Communicating and liaising closely with Breast Radiologists regarding all breast procedures
• Coordinating patient imaging schedules and managing bookings for breast imaging procedures
• Ensuring all pre-booking checklists are completed accurately
• Acting as a key point of contact for patients and clinical staff throughout the imaging process
• Managing patient recalls where required and following up abnormal results
• Obtaining relevant external imaging for procedures and uploading to PACS for Radiologist review where possible

What we’re looking for

✅ Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
✅ Previous clinical experience (hospital or clinic setting essential)
✅ Strong organisational and coordination skills
✅ Excellent communication and patient care abilities
✅ Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
⭐ Experience as a breast care nurse or in women’s health (highly regarded)
