About the role
We are looking for a commercially driven Account Executive to join our Prague team and take ownership of new business opportunities for Sinch Engage. Sinch Engage is our customer engagement platform that helps businesses communicate with their customers across multiple messaging channels through one easy-to-use interface. It supports companies of all sizes, from SMBs to Mid-Market and Enterprise organisations, helping them manage campaigns, conversations and customer engagement more effectively.
As an Account Executive for Sinch Engage, you will be responsible for converting qualified opportunities into paying customers. You will receive SQLs from the SDR team and will also directly manage inbound demo requests and signups for free trials. From there, you will manage the sales process, understand customer needs,
demonstrate the platform, recommend the right plan and close new business. This could include standard plans or custom plans, depending on the customer’s requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage SQLs, demo requests and free trial sign-ups provided by the SDR team.
- Own the sales process from qualified opportunity through to close.
- Run discovery calls to understand customer needs, use cases, challenges and buying priorities.
- Deliver clear and compelling product demos of Sinch Engage.
- Recommend the most appropriate plan for each customer, including custom plans where required.
- Convert free trial users into paying customers.
- Work with SMB, Mid-Market and Enterprise prospects across different industries.
- Build strong business cases and clearly communicate the value of Sinch Engage.
- Manage pricing, proposals and commercial negotiations.
- Accurately maintain pipeline, activity and forecasting information in CRM.
- Support new customers through initial onboarding before handing them over to a CSM.
- Collaborate with SDRs, Customer Success, Product and wider Sales teams to improve conversion and customer experience.
About you
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consultative selling, product demos and helping customers find the right solution. You will work with a wide range
of customers, from small businesses through to Enterprise accounts. You will also support new customers through the initial onboarding stage before handing them over to the Customer Success team.
- Experience in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, software, marketing technology, customer engagement or communications technology.
- Confident running discovery calls, product demos and commercial conversations.
- Ability to sell to different customer segments, from SMB through to Enterprise.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend the right solution.
- Comfortable managing inbound opportunities, demo requests and free trial conversion.
- Strong commercial awareness, including pricing, negotiation and closing.
- Organised and process-driven, with good CRM hygiene and pipeline management.
- Able to work cross-functionally with SDRs, Customer Success and Product teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Based in or able to work from Prague on a full-time basis.
Nice to have
- Experience selling marketing platforms, messaging products, CRM tools or customer engagement software.
- Experience converting free trials or product-led leads into paid customers.
- Experience working with subscription plans, usage-based pricing or custom commercial packages.
- Knowledge of channels such as SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, email or omnichannel customer engagement.

The annual salary for this position is between 750k to 900k Czech krona with commissions. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
