Job Description
King’s College Hospital London – Dubai is seeking a skilled and proactive ICT Support Engineer to join our IT Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effective support, maintenance, and availability of IT systems across the hospital, supporting both clinical and non‑clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first- and second-line ICT support to end users across the hospital
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application issues
- Support hospital systems and clinical applications in coordination with vendors and internal teams
- Escalate complex technical issues where required and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain accurate documentation, asset registers, and incident records
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies, data protection standards, and hospital procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in an ICT Support / IT Support Engineer role, preferably within a healthcare environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Office, networking basics, and end‑user support
- Experience with service desk tools and ticketing systems
- Good understanding of IT security and best practices
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, clinical environment
