Senior Engineer - Maintenance & Facilities Paint Shop

1. To support production in their daily operation by making sure all

equipment’s are in good health and safe in working condition.

2. To troubleshoot and give advice on any production equipment breakdown

in a minimum time to reduce long downtime period.

3. To plan and execute weekly, monthly, and yearly preventive maintenance

schedule for sub-ordinates for all equipment under his supervision.

4. Liaising with vendors during sourcing or purchasing of spare parts for

equipment in the plant.

5. Dealing and supervising contractors when a project is carried out in the

plant.

6. Supervising sub-ordinates carrying out their daily work.

7. Maintain and update spare parts inventory regularly to avoid long

downtime in case of machine breakdown and needs replacement.

8. To conduct in house training for all sub-ordinate from time to time to

enhance their technical skills as well as motivating them to excel better.

9. To assist superior in planning and design of new equipment setup, project,

or job requisition.

10.To ensure all sub-ordinates follow strict guidelines of the company in

discipline, ISO, Q4M, 5S, Kaizen, ICC etc.

Inokom is involved in the assembly and manufacturing of light commercial vehicles as well as contract assembly. Its manufacturing facility is located in Padang Meha, Kulim, occupying 200 acres of freehold land. Production first commenced in August 1997.The Company is owned by a consortium of corporate shareholders, which constitutes of Sime Darby Motors Sdn. Bhd., Sime Darby Hyundai Sdn Bhd, Hyundai Motor Company of South Korea , and Berjaya Auto Berhad.
