Corporate Compliance Senior Manager

JOB TITLE: Corporate Compliance Senior Manager DIVISION: Office of the President DEPARTMENT: Compliance LOCATION: Main Office, Makati City REPORTING TO (ROLE): Chief Compliance Officer NUMBER OF DIRECT REPORTS: 2 MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Implement and manage compliance with insurance regulations and other related regulations, to support the company in (a) fulfilling its regulatory obligations and protecting itself from risk of legal and/or regulatory sanctions, and (b) preserving its reputation, image, and brand KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Governance and Program Implementation Assist the CCO in the implementation of the Group and local regulatory requirements on the following subject matter areas: Insurance regulations (except AML, ABC, Conduct and Consumer Protection and Data Privacy matters) Banking regulations FATCA Cross border Regulatory Code of Conduct Compliance and Ethics Code AXA Group Standards Management of Related Party Transactions Formulate, review, modify, and disseminate policies, processes, and controls on the subject matters mentioned above Assist the CCO in regulatory examinations, internal and regional audit reviews, including the completion and monitoring of action items Prepare, monitor, and implement the Compliance Operating Plan for Corporate Compliance activities Monitor and report on Compliance breaches Lead the manpower and strategy planning Manage the Compliance officers in ensuring: Timely submission of (a) quality reports to regulators and to AXA Group (b) responses to regular requests for info Other activities are completed in accordance with the Compliance Operating Plan Risk Management Identify related compliance risks and formulate actions business units to monitor and guide process owners in mitigating compliance risks Conduct compliance risk assessments and analysis in collaboration with the Risk Management team, and monitor the identified risks and action items Awareness and Training Develop and manage regular awareness programs through trainings and campaigns for the entire Compliance team Formulate and review training materials for Corporate Compliance areas to ensure the business and its stakeholders are updated with Group and regulatory requirements Support other Compliance functions in awareness and training requirements Stakeholder Management Coordinate with Group Compliance and relevant regulators to ensure compliance with Group Standards and policies, and regulations Manage the Compliance Partners Program Public Affairs Monitor and anticipate public policy, regulatory developments, and socio-political trends relevant to insurance, finance, sustainability, and digitalization of economy in Philippines Align AXA Philippines’ public policy engagement with AXA Group's international strategy and standards, ensuring consistent positioning across jurisdictions Actively participates in the Group Public Affairs Network to coordinate on global priorities and contribute local insights Report to the CEO on the activities and coordinate with each Division’s Public Affairs correspondent Others Acts as secretariat for the board and senior management committees Ensure regular scheduling of committee meetings and coordination with presenters May act as Project Lead for Corporate Compliance projects

KEY STAKEHOLDERS: Internal – Business Units, Group Compliance External – Regulators, External Auditors EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: University graduate (major in Law, Commerce / Business or Economics, Accounting preferred) 7+ years’ experience as a manager or similar leadership role in the insurance industry, banking or other financial industries 3-5 years’ experience in Compliance roles Critical thinker, detail-oriented, and able to do problem-solving functions. high level of organizational skills With excellent communication and presentation skills Agile and can work with minimum supervision

Possesses and exhibits integrity, technical competence, objective and confidentiality

Experience in having reporting lines to Region or Global office is preferred.
