Position Mission
This position sits within Strategic Partnerships and is responsible for existing key clients.
The Lead Client Partner (LCP) engages directly with client stakeholders from the point of contact (POC) through decision-makers such as the CMO, Director, and Manager and leads the management of the entire account. By deeply understanding the assigned key accounts, building strong relationships of trust, and delivering optimal solutions, the LCP proactively drives both the client's business growth and the company's revenue expansion. In addition, the LCP is responsible for developing and coaching the Client Partners (CPs) who manage accounts alongside them.
Career Path After Joining
In this position, you will first join as a Client Partner (CP). Under the guidance of a LCP, you will build your skills and experience through hands-on work, and after gaining a certain level of experience, you are expected to step up to the Lead Client Partner (LCP) role.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Develop the strategy for your assigned accounts and lead the full process with ownership from proposal through execution, performance review, and securing reinvestment driving both the client's business growth and the company's revenue expansion.
Deeply understand the client's business, organization, and challenges, and identify growth opportunities and white space.
Address client challenges by combining products such as Search and Display across the board, designing optimal solutions and growth strategies, and driving upsell and cross-sell.
Build deep relationships across multiple layers of the client organization (including decision-makers such as the CMO, Director, and Manager) and establish yourself as a Trusted Advisor.
Analyze performance, develop and prioritize actions for key KPIs, and lead MBRs and QBRs.
Maximize the use of AI starting with operational and routine tasks to improve efficiency, and focus on the value that only humans can create (dialogue, relationship-building, strategy, and negotiation).
Provide OJT and coaching to CPs to support their development.
Qualifications
[Required Skills & Experience]
Business-level or higher proficiency in Japanese, English, and Chinese (speaking, reading, and writing), with the ability to conduct business discussions and negotiations in all three languages.
6+ years of hands-on client-facing (account management) experience in digital marketing or online advertising.
Knowledge or hands-on experience with LINE Yahoo Ads or Google Ads.
A broad understanding of digital marketing, including best practices for campaign optimization and operation, and a willingness to continuously learn about the latest trends.
The ability to deeply understand and analyze clients' ROI/CPA goals and data, media buying cycles, marketing concepts, targets, and more.
KPI design and an understanding of the marketing funnel (from Branding to Performance).
Project management skills to appropriately prioritize multiple projects in parallel and drive them forward in collaboration with other teams.

Account management skills and experience at an advertising agency or platform company.
Team management or leadership skills and experience (valuable for developing CPs as an LCP in the future).
Skills and experience in both Search and Display proposals and operations.
