
Delivery & Installation Technician - Pilot

Position Overview
- Seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Delivery & Installation Technician
- Independent contractor (1099 role)
- Responsible for delivering, assembling, and installing mobility equipment
- Helps improve customer safety, independence, and quality of life
- Ideal for someone who:
- Enjoys working with tools
- Has strong problem-solving skills
- Communicates professionally with customers
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver mobility equipment to residential and commercial locations
- Assemble and install products, including:
- Lift chairs
- Wheelchairs and scooters
- Ramps
- Stair lifts
- Ensure all equipment is installed safely and functions properly
- Provide basic instruction to customers on product use
- Load, unload, and transport equipment safely
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues during installation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Qualifications
Required:
- Valid and clean driver’s license
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (typically 50–100 lbs or more with assistance)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Good communication and customer service skills
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience in delivery, installation, construction, or assembly work
- Familiarity with mobility or medical equipment
- Basic electrical or carpentry skills
Work Schedule
- Part-time: Approximately 15–25 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling based on delivery and installation needs
Compensation
- Pay is dependent on experience

Contractor Terms
- This is a 1099 independent contractor position
- Contractor is responsible for their own taxes and insurance
- Company-provided delivery vehicles are used during work hours
