Position: Cashroom Associate

Pay Rate: $18/hour
Reports to: Assistant Director - Cash Control
Schedule: 6 hours per day, Thursday-Monday

Position Summary:
Perform general cashiering tasks in a very time sensitive environment. Verify prior day’s sales receipts for accuracy and completeness utilizing a Glory Cash Processing System, an integrated system of cash management and processing System.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Cash register cash bag processing utilizing Glory CPS.
  • Manage and stock the cash recycler at the Dancing Crane Café, as needed.
  • Create bank deposits from cash register sales receipts.
  • Prepare cash register bags for the next business day.
  • Counting and wrapping of coins using coin wrapper hardware.
  • Balance and proof the Cash Room vault daily.
  • Scan checks into the Bank of America CashPro online banking system.
  • Count and deposit Zoo donations sourced from Zoo donation devices.
  • Place and process vault note and coin change order requests.
  • Release starting cash bags to authorized managers
