PHARMACIST

Position Purpose: The Pharmacist is responsible for assisting with all medication procurement, storage, and preparation in the health system. The pharmacist ensures the pharmacy department facilitates safe medication use, meets all legal, accreditation and certification requirements, and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes, and standards of the organization.

Pharmacists will also support the activities of the Pharmacy Department to provide support for pharmacy services that meet patient’s needs, ensures that acceptable practice standards are met, fulfills all legal requirements and oversees activities that are focused to improve the quality of pharmacy services.
