Job Description
- 5 + years of industry experience in Manufacturing Engineering
- Strong foundation in both mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience developing detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures, and manufacturing routers.
- Proficiency in designing and building electrical/mechanical production and test jigs/fixtures.
- Demonstrated ability to support DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Test) activities.
- Experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical assembly and test processes, resolving production issues quickly and effectively.
- Experience in setting up work area with high efficiency workflow for low and high-volume production.
- Strong communication skills to interface across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Proficient with CAD tools (SolidWorks and Visio preferred).
- Familiar with ERP/MRP systems for router and BOM management.
- Prior experience with aerospace or defense manufacturing.
- Knowledge of IPC standards and aerospace/defense quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001).
- Familiarity with PCB assembly, harness builds, and electromechanical assemblies.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Hands-on shop floor experience with prototype builds and process validation.
- Exposure to automation or semi-automation in assembly/test environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Must have the ability to stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine
- Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.
- May be performing physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, climbing in and out of equipment, crawling, and working outdoors
It is an essential requirement for the person in this role to have a legal right to work in the United States and be eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization and DoD Clearance.

Pay Range: $100,000 - $157,000 per year
