Project Management Connectivity (Tbox) development

Objective of job 
RD project lead for connectivity (Tbox) development responsible for driving connectivity (Tbox) development process for China market, leading and coordinating the project mgmt. tools and system for complete lifecycle of HW&SW development, to create transparency among projects and resources, maintain a efficient development project mgmt. system, be responsible for project status report.Target is secure the component be released and delivered to plants as planned.   
 

Main tasks include:

• Collaborate with different stakeholders, acting as the interface between different projects and providing necessary development project information and technical consultance for relevant stakeholders
• Define and conduct cross functional product development system and tools for China market development projects. In order to create transparency for project milestone cross domain, as well as resource distribution 
• Own the defined product development system and tools and provide the transparency to all stakeholders.
• Drive continuously the development of the system and processes, to ensure the high requirement of project mgmt., and efficiency 
• Coordinating development of the tools and system, if IT or 3rd part shall be involved to develop it.  

• Supplier Management: evaluate local suppliers' development status and engineering capabilities, supporting the purchasing/quality departments 

  in supplier nomination and development, steering supplier development status, identify and manage risks accordingly. 

   

• Act as the interface of RD China, providing support for global plants during the project ramp-up phase, and coordinating global and local resources to analyze and solve system-level malfunctions. 
• Provide technical support to the production lines and answer RD-related technical, planning and maturity questions for logistics and MP colleagues.
• Technical support for Project leaders and function managers with project mgmt. knowledge.
   

Education
⦁    Master degree in electrical engineering, software engineering or computer science, or similar major

Experience
⦁    Good knowledge/experience about vehicle hardware/software development project in ADAS and Infotainment
⦁    Good knowledge about product conception, design thinking methodology  
⦁    Work experience at OEMs or suppliers for E/E especially SW and HW development is a plus
⦁    At least 3+ years of experience in software development projects
⦁    At least 2+ years of experience in vehicle/components development projects
⦁    Working experience in international company is a plus
⦁    Experience with in-car connectivity is plus
⦁    Experience working in an Agile development environment, Agile/Scrum methodology, experience as scrum master or product owner is plus

Special Knowledge
⦁    Advanced knowledge in terms of methodologies in project management, e.g. project plan, risk analysis, PMP is a plus
⦁    Basic understanding about software development quality methodologies
⦁    Know-how with vehicle EE architecture or SW/HW architecture is an advantage
⦁    Familiar with vehicle development process is an advantage
⦁    Advanced MS Office skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
⦁    Experience with Jira, and Confluence or similar PM tools
⦁    Willingness to travel inside China and foreign countries
⦁    Self-responsibility, team player with very good communication skills and presentation skills
⦁    Teamwork spirit with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
⦁    Very good English
⦁    German is a plus
