Residential Title Officer / Examiner
Las Vegas, NV | In-Office Training & Onboarding Period Followed by Flexible Hybrid Schedule (Minimum 3 Days In Office)

Following an initial in-office onboarding and training period, this role will transition into a hybrid schedule with at least three in-office days per week.
What You’ll Do
As a Residential Title Officer / Examiner, you will play a key role in ensuring clear and marketable title by researching, analyzing, and resolving title matters throughout the transaction process.
Responsibilities include:
Examining residential property titles to identify liens, encumbrances, ownership discrepancies, and other title issues
Reviewing deeds, mortgages, easements, legal descriptions, and related documents for accuracy and compliance
Preparing preliminary reports and title commitments
Conducting thorough public records and chain of title research
Resolving General Index matters and assisting with title curative processes
Identifying discrepancies involving legal descriptions, boundary matters, easements, and rights of way
Partnering closely with escrow teams, lenders, agents, buyers, sellers, and underwriters to help facilitate smooth and timely closings
Maintaining strong knowledge of state and federal regulations impacting title insurance and real estate transactions

Ideal candidates will bring:
Experience in title examination, title research, title operations, underwriting support, or title insurance
Ability to read and interpret complex title and legal documents
Strong understanding of legal descriptions, including metes and bounds, lot/block, and tract descriptions
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong communication and customer service skills
A team-first mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
