This is a temporary role, for 1 year.
Step into a role where every minute counts and every decision impacts a patient’s access to critical treatment. As Regional Logistics Manager – AMERICAS, you will operate in a highly time-sensitive environment where therapies must be delivered within tight time windows. You will take ownership of complex logistics processes, managing escalations with speed and precision while navigating real-time challenges. At the same time, you’ll look beyond day-to-day critical shipments driving strategic improvements, optimizing processes, and strengthening supplier performance. Collaborating closely with diverse stakeholders across the region and globally, you will be at the center of ensuring both operational excellence and continuous evolution of the logistics network.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute agile distribution strategies to ensure timely delivery within critical timelines
Act as primary escalation point, resolving complex logistics issues quickly to maintain uninterrupted patient supply
Identify and proactively mitigate distribution risks, developing robust contingency and continuity plans
Build strong partnerships with global stakeholders to align planning, logistics, and operational priorities
Collaborate with suppliers to optimize routing, improve performance, and drive cost and service efficiencies
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes and long-term operational performance
Manage allocation of production and distribution plans across sites, balancing capacity, lead times, and regulatory requirements
Ensure full compliance with quality, regulatory, and GMP requirements, including management of CAPA and quality events
Essential Requirements
Master’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business administration, or a related field
Experiences from Pharmaceutical environment are preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and logistics, ideally in time-critical distribution environments
Proven ability to manage complex logistics operations and resolve escalations in fast-paced settings
Strong analytical thinking with a structured, process-oriented approach to problem-solving and decision-making
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build trusted cross-functional relationships
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Due to the highly time-critical nature of the logistics operations, flexibility is important, with occasional availability required to address urgent situations as they arise.
